Engineering

  • Design and fabricate a table to match Creator and Designer specifications

Designer
Identify the visual construction of the station, including flooring, coverings, and lighting fixtures
Working with the Designers, design different bot characters and to create arms, legs, heads, bodies

Developer
What are the rules for this attraction? Brainstorm constraints, think about how many people can be in this attraction at once, etc

KNOCKING DOWN INJUSTICES

Engineering

  • Create a method for ball collection
  • Identify ideal target size
  • Create template to knock over targets

Designer

  • Create a visual for each of the injustices, this can include typography, illustrations, designs

Developer

  • Identify time constraints and how many throws or balls each guests have
  • Create the card system and rules for the game.
  • How will guests receive the cards to help solve issues?

Creator

  • Working with the Developer, design the card system and rules for the game
  • What does the information on each of the cards say?

PEDAL INTO TOMORROW

Engineering

  • Create a support structure for the tv monitor
  • Make the foot control panel and pedals,
     
  • Work with the Developers to run wiring

Designer

  • Create and design the transportation foot pedals
  • Create the overall design of the attraction to make the guests feel like they are stepping into a future transportation
  • Working with the Creators, design and direct what action each foot pedal will trigger
  • Working with the Creators, help film the stories for each of the transportation

Developer

  • Work with the Engineers to run wiring
  • Identify the rules of the simulator: how long each guest can “ride” the simulator, how many guests can be in there at a time
  • Based on the Creators and Designers, program the pedals to trigger specific actions
  • Program lighting, animations and special effects

Creator

  • Working with the Designers, design and direct what action each pedal will trigger in service of the story
  • Film and direct the stories for each of the transportations, include scripts, music, sound effects etc

  • Create posters to promote the obstacle course and posters with rules of the simulator

  • Create the rules of the drone delivery challenge: how many players, time limit, etc
  • Program the possible drone paths, obstacles, and game mechanics

Creator

  • Create a background story for the obstacle course, why are they flying drones from one place to another?
  • Brainstorm and create any audio that goes with the obstacle course, including: background music or sound effects

Identify the ideal measurements of each card

Working with the Designers, brainstorm why it is important to display our hopes and dreams
Brainstorm the importance of this as the final attraction and how we can motivate the public to all make a better future
